Job Title: Compensation Program Manager IV
(HR-BKFL--001)-Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Inc.
Introduction:
The Compensation Program Manager will be responsible for the
day-to-day administration and communication of Compensation
programs that support our Pay-for-Performance philosophy. This role
will manage base pay, short-term incentive plans and commissions
and will provide analytical expertise, guidance and interpretation
of Compensation policies and ensure compliance with country,
Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, analyze and administer competitive and equitable global
compensation programs including but not limited to salary planning
administration, commissions and variable pay programs. Model
compensation data and provide consultative recommendations. Prepare
upload files as required and generate communication materials.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Collaborate with Toshiba management, HR Business Partners and
Corporate Compensation Management in support of misc. compensation
initiatives/programs. Develop tools and controls to increase
efficiency and effectiveness of compensation programs as
needed.
- Document, analyze and evaluate Toshiba jobs to determine
compensable worth. This includes the development and editing of job
descriptions, interviewing employees and/or management,
organizational structure assessment, exemption analysis and
conducting internal equity and external market assessments using
third party surveys. Establish and maintain country specific salary
grade structures (domestic and international). Build compensation
related analytics. Identify problem areas and make recommendations
to management as appropriate.
- Administer Toshiba compensation processes, policies and
schedules and manage efforts to ensure alignment with best
practices, balanced with budget impact awareness . Collaborate with
HR Business Partners to provide solutions to compensation related
issues and requests including salary adjustments and offers.
- Provide miscellaneous ad hoc or scheduled reports, analytics
and presentations to the HR team as needed. Perform Compensation
audits with regards to Employee Data Integrity, Salary Range
Structures and Job Descriptions. Manage the participation in third
party surveys on behalf of Toshiba.
- Own the submission and feedback cycle of the Affirmative Action
Plan with outsourced vendors. Analyze feedback and provide results
to the HR teams to affect change and ensure proactive measures are
being made to meet AAP guidelines. Propose and implement equity
adjustments to eliminate pay disparity in job group areas with
significant issues. Lead or support Toshiba compensation projects
as required. Act as a change agent and influence change. Perform
other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years related experience in a combination of the following:
compensation administration (salary planning and variable pay), job
description development, market evaluation, salary structure
design/analysis, compensation compliance audits and data
integrity.
- Must have strong familiarity with HR systems
- Demonstrated experience supporting global compensation programs
in a multi-country environment
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
with ability to translate technical information into executive
presentations
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and logical reasoning
skills with demonstrated experience utilizing pivot tables and
Vlookup functions and comfort handling large data sets in Excel
format
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience with UKG (Ultipro) Compensation module very
helpful/preferred
- Must work well as a collaborative Team Member with strong
attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and follow
through
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and manage
sensitive information effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and
procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and Local compliance
requirements impacting compensation
