D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Multifamily-Office Assistant in the Main Office Department. The Office Assistant will work alongside and support the efforts of construction and development management, as well as perform general office administrative duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide administrative support to team members, which includes scheduling, meeting coordination, material preparation, data entry, making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and other general administrative tasks
  • Monitor and maintain proper level of supplies for office and breakroom
  • Resolve office-related issues and respond to requests
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Coordinate with the IT department on all required equipment
  • Answer and direct phone calls; prepare mailings and packages for delivery
  • Assist with organizational and community events, up to and including set up, tear down, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Serve as primary liaison to property management and engineers
  • Assist in planning and implementing event planning as required
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
    Education and/or Experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Three or more years of experience in administrative roles
    • Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
    • Ability to problem-solve issues
    • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks with consistent follow through
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Proactive, flexible and responsive
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
    • Proficiency with MS Office and emailPreferred Qualifications
