Job Overview Sweetwater Plumbing is growing—and we’re looking for a
motivated, hands-on Apprentice Plumber to support our residential
and commercial service team. This is a dynamic opportunity for
someone ready to learn the trade and grow their existing skills in
a fast-paced, professional environment. You’ll work alongside
experienced commercial plumbers on a variety of plumbing service
calls and projects across restaurants, hotels, multifamily
properties, wellness studios, and more. Whether you’re just

Plumbing is a locally owned, non-franchise plumbing contractor with
deep roots in North Carolina. We’ve built our name in new
construction and are now expanding our residential and commercial
service division, serving facilities like restaurants, commercial
kitchens, hotels, and wellness spaces throughout the Triangle. We

the growth of every team member. Key Responsibilities Assist with
Service Calls: Support licensed plumbers in diagnosing, repairing,
and replacing plumbing systems, fixtures, and components. Tool &
Equipment Handling: Set up and organize tools and materials on
site; help operate jetters, drain machines, and other diagnostic
tools under supervision. Site Prep & Clean-Up: Ensure job sites are
clean, organized, and safe before, during, and after work. Learning
on the Job: Gain exposure to commercial plumbing systems including
hot water plants, booster pumps, backflow devices, and ADA
upgrades. Documentation: Help with basic documentation, including
photo logging and material tracking via tablet-based work order
systems. Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA guidelines, company
safety procedures, and site-specific rules at all times. Team
Support: Collaborate with field techs, dispatch, and warehouse
teams to ensure smooth job execution. Qualifications Experience: 1
years of plumbing, construction, or mechanical experience
preferred, but not required—on-the-job training provided.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical
Ability: Able to lift 75 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in tight
spaces (ceilings, crawlspaces, roofs). Soft Skills: Eager to learn,
reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well. Licensing:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Bonus
Skills (a plus, not required): Confined space awareness, OSHA-10,
or basic tool handling knowledge. “Handy” on many general tasks.
