Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide services in an elementary school setting within Flint Hills
Special Education Cooperative, located in Emporia, KS or Council
Grove, KS. The role supports students across two school districts,
with caseload sizes varying from 10-12 students in shorter days to
50-55 students throughout a typical five-day week. This position is
ideal for candidates looking for flexibility, offering options for
full-time or part-time hours with onsite work only. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology
services to elementary students. Assess, diagnose, and develop
individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational
teams. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions
accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate
effectively with families and school staff. Participate in meetings
related to special education needs and services. Qualifications and
Experience: Current Kansas State License for Speech-Language
Pathology (SLP). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred. Experience working as an SLP
in school settings, preferably within elementary education. Strong
organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across
multidisciplinary teams. Location: Primary work based onsite either
at the Emporia or Council Grove school district locations, with
preference considered based on candidates residence. Benefits:
