Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients.Job Overview:Seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for LPL's Infrastructure Solutions Engineering organization. This Engineer will possess technical expertise and engineering skill which allows her/him to be grow into a leading subject matter expert for both Investor and Advisor themed technology as well as enabling Cloud based solutions. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, assist to identify requirements and facilitate implementation, while following appropriate change control and release processes.Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on, white glove customer service experience supporting Development and QA environments.
  • Facilitate the implementation of current and future LPL products specifically, in the form of Service Requests, Build Requests, and Change Request Tasks and Incident response.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers around project tasks
  • Assists with coordinating changes across multiple systems
  • Follow and contribute to policies, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with peer teams and assist with streamline Solution Orchestration and Configuration
  • Recommends changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of engineering process documentation standards/templates.What are we looking for?We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience.     • Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
    • 2-5 years of cloud computing experience
    • 2-5 Years' Experience Managing MS Windows and/or Linux or Environments
    • 1-3 Years' Experience with Python, PowerShell, JSON, YAML, ect
    • 1-3 Years' Experience with Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible, ect.)
    • Technical Project Management experiencePreferences:
      • 1-3 Years Software Development Experience
      • Understanding of Network protocols
      • Understanding of Firewall Rule Management
      • Understanding of Network Security Best Practices
      • Understanding of SQL Server Database build and configuration
      • Certifications are a plus (Microsoft, Redhat, Cisco, CompTIA, ect.)
      • Able to work on efforts independently and progress in a proactive fashion
      • Working knowledge of Version Control Tools
