Job Purpose

This position manages 2 nd Tier Project Engineers and Modality Engineers for medical informatics group. This position is responsible for standardization of best practices and procedures for handling all products in the Synapse portfolio. Responsible for development, support, training, implementation of best practice processes and procedures for the team. The person in this position is expected to develop and maintain active communications with all stakeholders. The frequency and contacts shall be determined by business needs.

The person in this position must comply with all internal regulations as determined by the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs group and follow practices established by the department and group into which he or she is a direct report.

Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures
Manage project workload and staffing levels, project assignment.
Standardize, optimize, and improve technical sales support operations
Standardize, optimize, and improve sales quote review process utilizing approved tools and processes.
Standardize, optimize, improve, and broaden modality integration coverage for Synapse product portfolio, including both image and data/measurements transfer
Manage Interfaces with OEM's for DICOM connectivity and integration conformance
Ensure adequate internal and external communications
Ensure the appropriate knowledge transfer to the implementation technical teams
Develop relationships and ensure cross-functional cooperation with Sales, Implementation, and Development
Develop and manage technical training program for the Integration Engineering department
Conducting regular staff meetings
Monitor on a periodic basis and ensure stakeholder satisfaction

Bachelor of Science Degree in the technical discipline
7 - 10 years of experience in Healthcare Information Technology
Ability to build and lead teams
Highly motivated and able to work independently
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
The ability to receive and communicate technical and strategic information
Knowledge of stakeholders in a clinical environment, and their roles and responsibilities
Thorough knowledge of PACS and Clinical Information Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, and related services
Advanced systems design, architecture, configuration, administration skills
Advanced systems and medical device integration experience
Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery implementation
Firm knowledge of network design and security, including LAN, MAN, WAN
