Job Description:

Define detailed engine test plans and schedule dyno test work.Write work orders and communicate needs to test cell operators.Prepare engines for testing and write assembly and instrumentation work orders.Analyze test results, present results and lead discussions.Calibrate base engine software features and help to develop new software features.Provide technical guidance to other groups (field performance, calibration, applications, etc.).Contribute to engine and aftertreatment hardware development. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.2 + years' experience in engine engineering.A basic understanding of diesel engine performance and emissions.6 months + experience in engine or component development testing.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Desired Skills:One or more years' experience with engine development or engine control system development or engine component/subsystem development.Proficiency in the use of engine test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of diesel engine emissions control technologies and emissions regulations.Experience in performance and emissions development of heavy-duty diesel engines, including the use of controller development tools.Experience using Design of Experiment methodologies, modeling, and optimization techniquesUser experience with GT-Power.User experience with National Instruments Diadem analysis software.User experience with Matlab and associated toolboxes (MBC, CAGE, Simulink).
