The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
---Will focus on the delivery of projects and will assist in the
design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of
projects comprising small- and large-scale water and wastewater
infrastructure projects and civil site development.
---Will have hands-on involvement in preparing reports or technical
memos, studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and
contract documents
---The core requirements for this role are technical capabilities
covering all aspects of design specifically wastewater
infrastructure design.
---Participation in scheduling, budgeting, and contract
administration for infrastructure projects is also part of the
role, including involvement in business development and preparation
of proposals

Key Responsibilities
--- Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase
through design completion for project needs and requirements that
are set by the project managers based off client needs
--- Assist in the day-to-day process technical work and project
execution
--- Utilizes knowledge of regularly used civil concepts, practices,
codes, and procedures within the water engineering industry
--- Prepare design reports to document the design process
--- Applies knowledge to complex projects, find and develop
non-standard design solutions to better serve clients project
specifications
Preferred Qualifications
--- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related
discipline
--- Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in
active pursuit of registration
--- General understanding of water and wastewater design (i.e.,
Infrastructure, Conveyance, Pump Stations/Lift Stations)
--- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building,
collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications
---Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a
recognized accredited program in their home country or the country
in which the professional is practicing.
---Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
---All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment
onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of
the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and
motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable
laws and regulations.
Certifications
Ability and interest to attain PE in the future (or) Licensed
Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration
preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Hybrid Work Schedule (3 Days in Office/2 Days Remote)
Typical office/home office environment. Physical Demands: Sitting,
talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing,
writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for
extended periods of time. May require travel to local and regional
client sites.
