Cadence is seeking a motivated, creative, detail oriented and hands-on individual to join our Sales Strategy & Operations organization as a Business Analytics Manager. The Business Analytics Manager will lead a team of data analysts. This team is responsible for generating actionable insights & reporting for Sales leaders to enable data driven decisions with velocity. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with Sales Operations & Sales leaders on analytical & metrics requests: BOD and management reporting, sales productivity and performance analysis, key business KPIs, pipeline analytics, trend analysis, discounting and price elasticity analysis, resource management, customer segment comparisons, budget and cost allocation - Manage & support strategic planning/initiatives - Build models and data visualizations to identify trends/patterns in data-sets and present insights in actionable format to drive business impact (using tools such as Anaplan, SQL, Excel, Tableau, R, Python etc.) - End to end ownership of sales analytics infrastructure: own the structure, process and cadence to drive sales analytics and reporting to key stakeholders - Audit, maintain, execute processes to ensure accuracy & integrity of the data within existing databases, reports, models, data visualizations - Partner with IT to build next generation data lake/hub capable of handling structured & unstructured data - Actively identify areas to improve existing sales and operational processes - Manage team well-being and growth This position offers a candidate the ability to: - Take on an impactful role and grow in an exciting multi-national company - Own and manage critical sales analytics models, systems and processes - Interact and work with senior business leaders across Sales, IT, Finance, Legal and Product to impact the organization on a global level Position Requirements - Bachelors degree in a quantitative and analytical field - 5+ years of work experience in business analytics / intelligence role - 1+ year(s) of people management experience (direct reports) - Deep technical expertise in: - Anaplan - SQL - Microsoft Excel, macro programming & VBA - Tableau - Python, R, HTML, Java - Understanding of key sales related business processes & systems (sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales target setting and compensation, revenue Management, quote-to-cash) a plus - Excellent communication and active listening skills - Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills - Attention to detail, ownership & solutions-oriented mindset - Willingness to continually learn and be comfortable with ambiguous situations Were doing work that matters.
