Are you an experienced Project Manager Multifamily? If so, lets talk! Our client is actively seeking a talented Project Manager Multifamily. This position is fully remote. This is a 12-month job assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent with our client. Job Description: Our Clients Advanced Energy team is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to contribute to the implementation of state and regional initiatives related to multifamily buildings programs in New York State. The Project Manager will have an integral role in managing projects and energy efficiency technologies applicable to multifamily buildings across New York and will be supporting a highly successful and highly visible statewide public benefit multifamily buildings program. The Project Manager will also play a key role in engaging with public authority staff, contractors, customers, and stakeholders with respect to managing a portfolio of projects. The Project Manager will work with our clients teams to contribute to the development and implementation of insightful, creative solutions and strategic initiatives to address program gaps and overcoming barriers to program participation. The position involves frequent interaction with stakeholders and program participants that may require regional travel. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, and lead, direct, and coordinate the work of team members (internal and external) of varied backgrounds. This position requires flexibility; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; and excellent customer care skills. Key responsibilities include: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to implement market-transforming clean energy initiatives related to multifamily buildings Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations Manage contractors and program support agreements Resolve contracting and customer issues Promote initiatives to customers, developers, and contractors Establish and maintain high standards of work, communication, and deliverables Solicit market feedback to continuously adapt multifamily building program strategies to optimize impact, overcome technical and market barriers, optimize private investment, and increase program participation Support the development of Request for Proposals Use effective systems and advanced data analysis to track project status for reporting, efficiency, strategy purposes and program improvement Implement strategies to regularly measure and communicate program results and use that information to continually improve program design Participate in the evaluation of program effectivenessBasic Qualifications: Project management skills with the ability to set priorities, collect and document project requirements, successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be a quick and eager learner of new material and think holistically about complex challenges with technical and non-technical components. Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive and collaborative style that works well in teams. Exceptional organizational, time-management and planning skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key stakeholder groups. Ability to drive big picture goals while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively evaluate information and data to make decisions. Ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Awareness of social, economic, and environmental contexts of statewide energy and/or workforce development policies. Excellent oral and written communications skills.Experience Minimum: Desire is 3+ years of experience in managing multifamily building or energy efficiency commercial or residential programs. This is an entry level position willing to accept someone with 1+ year experience in managing multifamily building or energy efficiency commercial or residential programs.Education Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree, plus relevant experience (can substitute years of experience for degree).Work Location: This position is remote.
