Serves as an influencer and advisor to business leaders and leads and grows a team of high-performing, talented HR business partners. Ensures the people strategy enables the business strategy. Provides consultation on how to build and maintain an effective organization and how to drive and effectively lead change. Partners with business leaders and teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions and strategies, and ensure results and impact. Partners with global HR centers of excellence (COEs) and regional People Operations teams, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, employee communication, and compensation.

Responsibilities

* Manage a team of People Advocates, ensuring they have a high level of business insight and achieve high-quality results.
* Motivate team to reach its full potential. Recognize and develop high potential team members, while upgrading talent where and when necessary. Translate company goals into functional department and individual career goals and provide support and guidance to employees. Contribute to the establishment of department succession plans.
* Lead by example in promoting a positive, team-oriented culture and reinforce department and company values.
* Involved in the execution of the department vision, goals, and expectations to accelerate the team to scale for dynamic growth.
* Engage team, business leaders, and People organization colleagues to assess and address the unique, strategic people needs of N-able's diverse business groups and ensure all work to build and execute a balanced, global people strategy.
* Develop high-trust working relationships in order to influence business leaders to support the execution of strategic People initiatives that directly drive business priorities and develop and retain top talent across the company, integrating cross-functional effects on timing, readiness for change, and resource management. Leverage workforce analytics to help leaders prepare for and address future trends and changes to the talent landscape.
* Provide coaching to manager + level organizational leaders.
* In partnership with the COEs, assist with the administration and execution of compensation programs for employees.
* Research and facilitate discussions with business leaders and offer people subject matter expertise. Provide counsel and recommendations in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion strategies, and initiatives.
* Develop change management strategies and plans to assist leadership with organizational change.
* Develop measures to define progress and success in client groups and establish key performance indicators for strategic people initiatives.
* Leverage people analytics to inform people strategies in order to identify engagement drivers.
* Partner with People operations leadership and COEs on the proposal, design, and oversight of people processes.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements, direct to senior department leaders, and contribute to their implementation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* Demonstrated background in talent management and leadership management; proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent and assemble and motivate high performance teams
* Ability to strategically and tactically partner to implement sophisticated people programs and initiatives while ensuring alignment to N-able's strategy and objectives
* Customer-centric focus with the ability to cultivate culture and create agreement between business goals, behaviors, and systems that guide performance
* Ability to execute broad communication planning and delivery of clear messages to senior leaders and the organization to help build and sustain awareness and engagement; strong presentation skills
* Experienced in organizational design, talent management, succession planning, change management, employee relations, leadership development, metrics/analytics, and program/project leadership
* Strong executive presence
* Experience consulting and directly supporting senior leaders across multiple functions
* Experience developing compelling, data-driven business cases and building culturally-appropriate programs and plans designed to empower the team and influence senior leaders to act
* Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS
* Strong influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills with the ability to cultivate productive, collaborative relationships with peers and senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

* 7-10 years of professional HR experience as an HR business partner in a dynamic, fast-paced, rapidly growing, global environment
* 4+ years' experience as a manager of people and a minimum of 4 years Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources management, organizational development, business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience executive leadership
