Job Description:
JD: As Project PMO Lead you will ensure on-time delivery of
client's Finance ERP transformation program, enabling improved
reporting and insight into financial data, optimization of
financial processes, and simplification of BPs entire ERP
landscape. Managing dependencies and risks, consolidating key
decisions, and ensuring clear communication across diverse
stakeholders, you will facilitate alignment across the organization
through a robust governance process.
Furthermore, youll be an integral part of the global team who are
dedicated to making positive change, transforming an industry, and
supporting BPs Net Zero ambition.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- The role is a critical part of the business strategy to ensure
the Finance ERP transformation is delivered on time and within
budget
- Work across the business to report and track dependencies among
strategic programs across the Finance ERP transformation
portfolio
- Support program leadership team to develop and manage overall
delivery plan including milestones and identification of key
dependencies between other programs
- Support project teams with coordination of design workshops,
stakeholder feedback sessions, and key project activities
- Document and track outstanding actions and milestones to
completion
- Coordinate with scrum master to ensure retrospectives / lessons
learned are completed, documented and appropriate actions
executed
- Coordinate a cadence to review and address project
risks
- Consolidate & organize key decisions and outcomes into
PowerPoint slides quickly for presentation to executives
- Provide support by keeping our backlog of priorities cleansed
and updated
- Capture actions, outcomes, decisions in meetings and ensure
that we are aligned on any follow-on activities
- Document, store and distribute meeting minutes for governance,
PLT and other project ceremonies
- Identify, document, and assign emerging or potential program
risks & issues based on insights
- Help develop key communications for program updates to key
stakeholders at various levels (both detailed and executive
summaries)
- Responsible for budget tracking and purchase orders throughout
the program, and ongoing license allocation as required across the
project team
Qualifications
- Degree in business, engineering or similar field
(preferred)
- 10+ years Project/Programme management support
experience/qualification (required)
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven success managing and delivering complex,
cross-functional projects / programs
- Experience within PMO / project management, including
developing communication and presentations for executive
levels
- Experience working within Agile environment
(preferable)
- Self-starter mentality with drive and motivation whilst also
being an exceptional communicator who works well within a
multidisciplinary team, bringing colleagues with them on a
journey
- Positive personality, with energetic leadership style and
strong resilience
- A good balance of structured/holistic thinking with fast moving
and pragmatic approach to ensure quick delivery
- Passionate about continuous improvement, process efficiency and
people empowerment
- Proven track record of performing in high-intensity
environments, operating within tight financial resources and
meeting challenging deadlines
- Strong ability to create succinct executive level PowerPoint
slides
