Job Description Description: Position Summary The Implementation Project Manager holds a key position in the implementation of new products for bio-devices for the global poultry industry. This vacancy is to be filled with a highly creative, seasoned, hands-on leader with strong background in overall project management disciplines. This position will enable operations, systems engineering, and field services to successfully meet company objectives including understanding and meeting design and implementation requirements of internal and external stakeholders, and meeting schedule and cost targets. This person will accomplish these goals by providing teams with clear, organized leadership. The role will require familiarization with engineering skills and knowledge to facilitate quick and logical project decisions and work prioritization utilizing strong teaming and communication skills. This position reports to the Director of Project Management and leads implementation projects through an internal matrix organization in addition to managing external consulting and design firms.Requirements: Key Job Responsibilities - Work collaboratively with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure project delivery - Manage project schedule, scope, and cost - Develop project schedules and other written deliverables to build shared understanding across stakeholders - Collaborate with R&D, Systems Engineering, Field Services, and Operations in a demanding environment to install industrial devices for customers quickly and correctly - Proactively execute change management according to policies, procedures, and project charter - Communicate customer needs and concerns to all stakeholders during all phases of the project - Monitor project execution and execute project closure activities - Other duties and special project as assigned Desired Skills & Qualifications - Demonstrated experience leading project teams - Broad engineering knowledge in new product development/introduction, cost reduction, Product Life Cycle analysis, testing and quality improvements - Experience developing new products and directing mechanical, software and controls engineering teams - Demonstrated multi-disciplinary experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems and problem-solving techniques related to automated equipment. - Knowledgeable in safety compliance regulations, i.e., CE, IEC, and their application to machine safety - Experience with Engineering Change Management processes - Ability to concurrently handle multiple project assignments - PMP certification Education and Experience Requirements - Bachelor's Degree (BSME/BSEE is strongly preferred) - 5-10 years of project management experience - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project Working Conditions - Office environment (40%) and Hatcheries (60%); travel will be required (60%) PI207777155
