Overview:TIPPER TIE is a worldwide supplier of processing and clip packaging machines. Our product range includes fine cutters for emulsified products and a complete line of clippers from tabletop models to fully automated.Our organization is currently seeking an Accounting Manager in Apex, NC to support our Accounting and Finance teams.In this role, you will report to the Global Finance Director, responsible for accounting and controls for Tipper Tie North American business. This position will manage 3 accounting professionals and actively participate in the company's continuous improvement cycle.Responsibilities:Manage the monthly accounting close process.Review journal entries and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with SOX 404 and adherence to JBT company standards.Advise management on key control policies and provide necessary accounting guidance.Coordinate internal and external audit requests.Perform all statutory tax reporting for the Apex location.Efficiently and accurately oversee the financial management of the business to improve efficiency, reduce company costs.Analyze trends and deviations in operational performance and recommend corrective actions to management.Collaborate with JBT corporate accounting group to provide support in terms of metrics, analysis, and reporting.Perform and manage ad-hoc projects and analyses related Apex operations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.CPA/MBA preferred.Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, operations finance, forecasting, budgeting, data analysis, cost analysis, and financial reporting experience.Advanced Excel SkillsCost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.ERP implementation experience preferred.Must have experience working in accounting roles within manufacturing environments.BENEFITSJBT Corporation offers the growth potential of a company with a developing technology that is unique in its field, plus frequent company-sponsored events and a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage and 401(k) plan.AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERIt is the policy of JBT Corporation to provide equal opportunity for qualified persons and not to discriminate against any applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law at the JBT Corporation location to which this application is submitted.
