Position Summary

The Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager (MM) will have the unique opportunity to manage a strategic portion of the Vascular business unit portfolio while leading a team of high-performing marketers. The selected candidate will focus on implementing the latest and most effective marketing strategies to increase awareness of clinically differentiated solutions, ultimately accelerating the generation of qualified leads to increase market share and drive exponential revenue growth. S/he will be a leader within the Vascular Commercial Marketing Team and will have proven experience executing marketing programs, portfolio strategies and brand management to significantly shift market dynamics.

The Marketing Manager's responsibility is to master current and potential markets, develop and execute superbly the category marketing plans, market development programs and demonstrate in-depth understanding of competitive offerings and strategies.

This individual is to clearly communicate the portfolio strategic direction and priorities. Close collaboration with cross-functional business partners is critical to personal success.

Principal Responsibilities
---Lead all aspects of commercial marketing, including creating and driving the vision and commercial plan, branding, pricing, content development, forecasting, and more.
---Serve as the brand strategy expert for the portfolio
---Develop and execute annual marketing plans and new product launches following the Launch Excellent Action Plan (LEAP) framework
---Develop and manage the pricing and GPO strategies for the portfolio
---Practice and teach the fundamentals of marketing strategy and techniques
---Conduct and implement market research methods to capture customer needs and business opportunities
---Lead all aspects of promotion, including digital tool creation, advertising, sales tool creation, demand generation campaigns, and KOL Program development and management (in compliance with IPPs and close partnership with Clinical Medical Affairs)
---Develop and coordinate KOL relationships and promotional programs as part of a regional/national program
---Generate leads through focused targeting campaigns and work closely with the sales leadership team to demonstrate return on investment
---Develop, leverage, and maintain key opinion leader (KOL) relationships for voice of customer (VOC) feedback and new idea generation process.
---Build a strong, collaborative relationship with the Sales Force to achieve mutual business goals
---Collaborate with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution to maintain high service levels.
---Manage the performance and lead the professional development of at least 1 direct report
---Adhere to and ensure adherence to Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
---Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate manager.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of experience in medical device marketing, including specific experience in downstream marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
  • Exceptionally strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and techniques
  • Strong financial and branding acumen
  • Excellent project management and execution skills. You will also have expertise in communicating with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Out-of-box thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communications
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high tolerance for change.

    Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
    ---Demonstrate practical application of successful marketing/business/portfolio management concepts and methodologies, as well as knowledge of measurement and analysis of commercial effectiveness.
    ---High financial acumen and understanding of P&L
    ---Experience working in a regulated environment, with healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
    ---Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically
    ---Ability to present robust business cases in both formal presentations and one-on-one interactions. Strong formal and informal communication skills
    ---Ability to provide creative and strategic guidance and focus to team members
    ---Ability to lead and influence others by acting as a leader within the team
    ---Ability to work collaboratively within and across departments and teams
    ---Planning, organization, oral and written communications skills, project management, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, resource management, budget management, attention to detail, ethics, and values.
    ---Ability to drive, focus on results, prioritize, approach situations proactively, create problem-solving solutions, be flexible, and effectively manage time/projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
