      WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:



      • Own all new content products, processes, standards and plans in support of the content business.
      • Lead and scale a group of 100+ associates in multiple teams of eLearning content developers creating content for multiple vertical markets in healthcare for the United States, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Germany & New Zealand.
      • Responsible for overseeing planning, budgeting, and development to ensure timely completion of high quality content.

      • Effectively manage a team of directors to ensure they are properly leading each team. This includes ensuring sound business decisions are made, driving to improve efficiency while maintaining quality, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and budget, and remaining in sync with related departments such as Sales, Support and Product Management so that the products your teams create are meeting demand.
      • Maintain and scale the Content department's positive organizational health and adherence to Relias culture across existing team and new members brought on through organic growth or acquisition.
      • Monitor deliverables, performance, and results and regularly communicate status to the Chief Product Officer, Relias Operating Committee(ROC), and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
      • Must be able to think and act strategically to adjust team activity to meet the deliverable goals.
      • Prepare and present a Quarterly Business Review of your department to Executive Team, which tracks delivered results, employee turnover, status of key department projects, and proposed strategic changes.
      • Stay informed on our competitive landscape and make strategic recommendations about how to evolve our products to remain the best overall product available in the industry.
      • Oversee and ensure our content maintains accreditations and meets compliance standards.
      • Hold a seat on the Products Leadership Team (PLT) to work with Product Management, Engineering, and Clinical Solutions to determine the future of our products.
      • Hold a seat on the Relias Operating Committee (ROC) to meet weekly with other division heads to run the day-to-day operations of the company. You will weigh in on key decisions that need to be made throughout the company. On this team, you do not represent your department alone, you represent and make decisions collectively for the entire company.
      • Perform as an executive sponsor for key accounts, which includes attending quarterly business reviews, assisting sales in securing a renewal or closing a new account. Visit customers on-site to learn, observe, provide guidance and/or make recommendations to how to use our products more effectively. Provide feedback to the support teams working with key accounts.
      • Perform due diligence on acquisition opportunities. This includes reviewing content for quality and fit as well as determining the technical obstacles for integrating the content into our core product. Must be able to create an integration plan which includes the technical actions and costs required to integrate outside content. The integration plan will also include a review of personnel and your plan to integrate, relocate, or reduce positions. Must also show ability to execute your plan closely.
      • Manage the project budget and lead negotiations with 3rd party vendors and reconcile spending against budget.
      • Work with Strategic Partnerships team to ensure we are partnering with content providers and 3rd party vendors who will add value to our customer base, as well as ensure we can technically integrate their content into our platform.

        YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:



        • Innovative/Strategic Executive experience. Examples of products, features, systems improvements that you have created, developed or lead.
        • 10+ years of experience in leading Instructional Design Teams, Learning Management Systems software development and/or design, or leading highly efficient project management or professional services teams with a track record for hitting deliverables on time and at or under budget.
        • 5+ years working within a Learning Management System, preferably contributing to new feature design or steering the direction of the product.
        • 5+ years of experience in managing project budgets
        • Masters degree in business, finance, Instructional Design or equivalent experience.
        • Can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross functional teams.
        • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
        • Proven experience in managing simultaneous projects in high volume
        • Proven experience in managing project communication, including status reporting and executive reporting
        • Proven experience in training and developing new college graduates into high performing skilled team members.
        • Experience in leading a development team and extracting reports to document business measures from a Web Based Project Management/Time Tracking Tool. QuickBase preferred, MS Project or equivalent skills and experience will be considered.
        • Not afraid of the details - need to be highly focused mitigating product development risk by ensuring that no rocks go unturned
        • Able to navigate and distill a sea of data into a succinct snapshot of critical metrics to report only what is important to executives.
        • Technically astute with a demonstrated understanding of contemporary online education and project management technologies and their applicability to solve problems and satisfy client needs.

          Travel



          • Must be willing to travel 10%-50% of the time.
          • International Travel required.
