This role serves as the key position for generating revenue within our Mid-Market/ Small Enterprise space, by further growing the existing customer base for the Samanage product as well as new logo customer acquisition. This role embodies the opportunity to exercise entrepreneurial drive in developing strategies to drive business demand and revenue, including creating new revenue models and channels, driving demand for new logo, growth on the current base, reducing customer churn and contributing to new products and features. Successful performance in this role will lead to increased responsibility, impact, and reward. Reporting to the VP, Revenue & Success, the Senior Director, Salesstrategically helps drive demand, consistently increases the amount of new business coming into the company and maximizes relationships with existing customers. As a player-coach, this role directly achieves ambitious sales results while also developing, leading and inspiring highly productive business development, sales and technical sales teams.As the leader of this function, our RVP will build and lead a regional sales organization focused on the following outcomes:Drive Revenue OutcomesCreate overall plans and strategies for developing business and achieving opportunity and revenue goalsManage and guide all day-to-day activities of the sales team in regionOptimize sales productivity and resultsIdentify, cultivate, and close new business to meet aggressive sales goals utilizing a highly relationship-driven approachRecommend and create new revenue models and channels in support of company objectivesGain astute comprehension of marketplace and prospect dynamicsManage Revenue ActivitiesLead and develop high achieving, inspired business development, sales, technical and customer success sales teamsEstablish mentoring, training and support processesManage sales budgets, KPI's, and performance reporting toolsAnalyze acquisition reports to formulate solutions and action plans for increasing revenue generationInspire Revenue Across the CompanyContribute collaboratively to product and feature ideation, development, and enhancementSupport development and implementation of marketing programs and initiativesStrengthen customer relationships, grow the base and reduce churnIncrease market penetration and promote the Samanage brandCollaborate cross-functionally with company leaders to facilitate support for revenue generation initiatives, and for cohesive integration of revenue generation goals and activities with overall operationsQualifications10+ years successful sales experience, including at least 5 years in sales managementAbility to lead, mentor, and grow a team, serving as a player-coachProven experience growing revenue through customer acquisition and growing sales revenues over a multi-year sustainable basisHistory of developing and building strong customer relationshipsExperience in creating new revenue models and channelsProven success in introducing and selling new products in the marketplaceProven ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environmentProven ability to working collaboratively and communicating effectively with other teamsProblem solver and thought leader on sales, marketing, and general market trendsStrong strategic thinking skills, combined with highly developed analytical skillsExceptionally strong communication and writing skillsPositive, winning attitude with ability to highly motivate sales teamsStrong skills in the analysis of sales reportingHighly skilled and passionate deal-closerRelevant Bachelor's degree Apply herePandoLogic.Category: Sales, Keywords: Sales Director
