UNC Rex Holly Springs, Labor and Delivery with OR, is a Level II
Birthing Center. We have 5 OBED rooms where we evaluate pregnant
patients 16 weeks and up with obstetrical complaints. This allows
us to have 24/7 OB provider in house. We have 7 beautiful labor
rooms with wireless monitoring and labor tubs in every room.
Currently there is one state of the art LDOR with a soothing
ambiance for delivery via cesarean. We will have 2 ORs before end
of 2022. We have 24/7 anesthesia in house and an OB CRNA dedicated
to our patient population. Our expected deliveries per month is 55
but this number continues to grow as our OB population grows in
Southern Wake County and surrounding areas.
Provides competent nursing care consistent with professional
nursing standards. Responsible for coordinating and delivering
patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital

of care. Makes use of available multidisciplinary resources in
planning care. Begins to use full range of communication as a means
to convey planning. Identifies and addresses cultural and ethnic

8. Reads journals that contain studies or articles that may be
applicable to practice. Brings ideas and questions to the staff at

Professional Experience Requirements:
? One year experience working as a licensed RN
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
? Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical
information and technical procedures. Ability to document clinical
information. Ability to effectively communicate information and
respond to questions from patients, physicians, family members, and
other Rex staff. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts
such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to
practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
