Our Library contains over 4,500 evidence-based oncology treatment regimens used to support quality cancer care and its reimbursement. These oncology Library regimens support the Eviti's pre-authorization tool (Eviti Connect) and decision support software (Eviti Advisor).The Clinical Knowledge Base Manager is a detail-oriented, experienced oncology nurse who loves learning and using his/her knowledge. The successful applicant will review national clinical practice guidelines and analyze relevant oncology research to build and maintain the Eviti Library. The successful applicant will also review and help automate client Medical Policy as well as Medicare policy and coverage determinations. The Clinical Content Manager is responsible for the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the Library.This position is a remote role.ResponsibilitiesBuild and review oncology treatment regimens for the Library based on clinical studies and oncology clinical practice guidelines and standards of careReview and update Library regimensReview and create rules to enable client Medical Policy, Oncology Pathways, and Medicare coverage determinationsImprove Library content and the processes used to develop and maintain itCollaborate extensively with colleagues to ensure Library accuracy, currency, and consistencyConduct medical literature searches and review and interpret the results of clinical studiesCommunicate the rationale for content-related decisions to team members and clientsParticipate in the training and continuing education of NantHealth staffParticipate on project teams to improve Library clinical content and software functionality, including the integration of biomarkers and genomicsSupport the growth and development of new Eviti product lines, such as Autoimmune disease LibraryRequired Certifications or License:Current Active Unrestricted Registered Nursing LicenseOCN certification preferredEducation & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred5 years prior experience in OncologyResearch & writing experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesGeneral and disease-specific Oncology expertise including cancer classification, staging, diagnosis, treatment, and standards of careStrong knowledge of oncology practiceKnowledge of insurance industry and payer medical policy preferredExperience and knowledge in autoimmune diseases is preferredDemonstrated excellence in attention to detail and documentation skillsExcellent computer and internet skillsExperience with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, and Excel)Experience with content/data management software preferredAdvanced knowledge of cancer genomics and biomarkers preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to work and manage workload independentlyProven ability to collaborate effectively with team membersAbility to balance multiple competing priorities and adhere to timelinesFlexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving business needsNantHealth is a mandatory vaccination employer for COVID-19 and its variants.
