Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Labor and Delivery - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/28/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Job Title:Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Facility:Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location:Fayetteville, NC (1638 Owen Dr) Start Date:07/28/2025 Duration:13 Weeks Shift:Nights (3x12-Hour, 19:00–07:00) Weekend Rotation:Every Other Weekend Job Overview: This role provides care in ahigh-volume Labor & Delivery unitat a short-term acute care facility. The RN will manage laboring patients, assist with deliveries, and provide postpartum stabilization. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor fetal heart tones, labor progression, and maternal vitals. - Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries. - Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn stabilization. - Charting:Epic EMR (required). - Floating:May float to similar units as needed. Requirements & Qualifications: Mandatory: - Active RN license(Compact or NC state; no pending licenses accepted). - 2 yearsof recent L&D experience. - Epic proficiency(required). - Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NRP (confirm if required). - Travel Policy:First-time travelers accepted. Preferred: - Experience with high-risk obstetrics (e.g., preeclampsia, hemorrhage). - Fetal monitoring certification (e.g., NCC EFM).
