About the Facility Location The facility is located in Marion, North Carolina. About the Clinician's Workday This role provides 24-hour inpatient newborn call coverage (7a-7a), requiring on-site response when requested by the OB provider, newborn resuscitation, circumcisions, and attendance at all deliveries. The unit is RN-staffed, uses Cerner EMR, and requires board certification along with experience in circumcision, NRP, and PALS. Duties include phone calls, rounds, and consults. The pediatric practice currently consists of two physicians who each cover at least 10 shifts per month; with one physician departing and no PRN support available, locums coverage is needed to maintain 24/7 newborn call.
