Responsibilities: Engage in diverse clinical responsibilities,
including Level II nursery and well newborn nursery (for Med-Peds
trained physicians), daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent
management, intubation, central line placement, and thoracentesis.
Structured Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a 7
on 7 off rotation, working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with 2 night
shifts every other week. This structured approach allows for
optimal work-life balance. ICU Coverage: Benefit from a
well-established system where the ICU is covered by pulmonary
critical care physicians from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hospitalist team
takes over nights and weekends. Experienced Team: Join a seasoned
team of 6 hospitalists, fostering a collaborative and supportive
work environment. Leverage the expertise of your colleagues to
enhance patient care. Patient Volume: Anticipate a manageable
patient volume ranging from 15-20 patients, ensuring focused and
individualized care. Transfer Support: Experience strong air and
ground support, facilitating the immediate transfer of patients to
the Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center. Integrated EMR:
Utilize an efficient and system-wide integrated EMR EPIC,
streamlining patient information and enhancing communication.
Certifications: Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications, ensuring a
