Pediatrician Opportunity near Winston-Salem, NC - Located in High Point, NC - Winston-Salem 20m - Full-time, permanent positionHighlights:Thriving practice known for going the extra mile for patients.Team-oriented office with five (3) physicians and (2) APPs.Comprehensive outpatient Pediatric practice for newborns to age 22.Ample volume of well-child checks, sick visits, and various procedures.Pediatric Care Services Include:Well-child examsAnnual/school physicalsSick/acute careCare of newbornsImmunizationsFlu shotsTreatment of allergiesTreatment of asthmaADHD/ADD consultationsDevelopmental screeningsChildhood obesitySports physicalsAdolescent medicineJob Summary:Physicians work to care for patients in various ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, taking medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending treatment plans.Education/Experience:M.D./D.O. from an accredited medical school.Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.Successful record of clinical and service excellence.Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:Current M.D. or D.O. license from the State of North Carolina or eligible.Board certification in primary care or related field.Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing required.
