JOB DESCRIPTION: Excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join one of the busiest Pediatric ED's in the state of beautiful North Carolina. We offer Top Tier Compensation and generous, extensive benefits. Candidate must have completed Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship to be considered or have strong Peds/EM experience. The Children's Emergency Department serves as the pediatric base for the county EMS system and provides trauma services to the area. Successful candidates will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment. HOSPITAL: A private not-for-profit organization with 7,000 employees and almost 1,500 physicians on our medical staff. The ED is the busiest in North Carolina, and one of the top 15 busiest in the nation, treating 95K adult and 35K pediatric cases annually. It is designated a Level III Trauma Center. Our providers perform a wide variety of surgery, including minimally invasive procedures for acute and chronic conditions as well as acute care surgery. DaVinci XI on site.
