Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Required certifications applicable for the role Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Peripheral IV experience - Stroke experience - SEPSIS experience - STEMI experience Description: This position is for an urgent backfill in the Emergency Department. The facility has a high-paced, high-acuity environment. The department features 20 beds and requires staff to manage a patient ratio of 1:4, unless surging, in which case it may increase to 1:5. The typical patient population includes various age groups, from geriatric to adult and pediatric. Experience in managing critical situations and high-stress scenarios is essential. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. This role does not have call requirements. The applicant should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and adaptability are crucial for success.
