Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVPICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring BLS, PALS, and either a NC or compact license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a hospital setting - Primary patient population includes pediatric cardiovascular and critical care cases - Floating to other pediatric critical care units may be required - 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), working every other weekend - Bi-weekly orientation is provided - Core responsibilities include providing specialized pediatric cardiovascular and critical care nursing - One bi-weekly orientation session is available for onboarding - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted - Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions permitted during flu season - Required modules are completed during orientation and as assigned annually /n /n Requirements/n - Active NC or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - Current BLS and PALS certifications required - Minimum of 1 year experience in PCICU, PICU float, NICU, or Peds Stepdown with PICU floating required - At least 2 years of experience is highly preferred - One supervisory reference from within the last year is required - Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661868.
