Job Description:
Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) offers unique opportunities
for Telemetry Nurses to expand their experience and skills by
working across a vast array of healthcare environments. This role
involves monitoring patients with high-tasking acute diseases or
those recovering from various surgeries. Telemetry Nurses play a
crucial role in the healthcare services team by providing
continuous monitoring, assessment, and intervention to ensure
patient safety during their recovery process. As a Telemetry Nurse
with TNAA, you will find yourself empowered with unmatched support
and the tools you need to succeed across different medical
settings, enhancing your adaptability and expertise in the nursing
field. Monitoring patient vital signs through telemetry equipment
and identifying any changes in rhythms or patterns that may
indicate emergencies. Administering medications and treatments as
prescribed and observing reactions. Communicating effectively with
doctors and other healthcare professionals to convey patient status
updates. Educating patients and families about health conditions
and post-hospital care. Maintaining detailed notes of observations
and treatments to ensure continuity of care. Proficient in the use
of telemetry monitoring devices. Strong analytical skills to
interpret vital signs and other data. Excellent communication
skills for effective interaction with the medical team, patients,
and their families. Ability to perform efficiently in high-stress
environments. Medical Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the practicing state is mandatory. Certification in Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Telemetry
Certification is highly preferred.
