Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit
Manager, RN to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare
facility. This role is pivotal in maintaining the standard of
excellence associated with our services, focusing on enhancing
patient experiences and outcomes within our skilled nursing and
rehabilitation care environments. The ideal candidate will bring a
robust clinical background, proven leadership skills, and the
ability to foster a collaborative team environment. This position
plays a critical part in implementing patient care programs, staff
development, and ensuring adherence to the highest standards of
medical care. Manage and oversee the nursing staff to ensure
adherence to quality standards, regulations, and policies. Develop
and implement nursing care plans and oversee patient care
assessments. Coordinate with healthcare professionals and
departments to optimize efficiency and care standards. Monitor and
ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain a cohesive, safe, and efficient working environment.
Assess patient needs, staff resources, and improve processes to
enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes. Conduct performance
evaluations, provide training, and support the continuous
professional development of the staff. Strong leadership and
organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in healthcare management systems and electronic
health records. Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and
safety standards. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a
dynamic environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS/CPR certification. Preferred: Certified Nurse Manager and
Leader (CNML) or similar.
