Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed
Occupational Therapist fluent in Spanish is needed to provide
specialized services to elementary school students (K-5) in Cary,
NC. This contract position offers an immediate start and runs
through June 11, 2026, supporting a caseload of 25-30 students. The
role requires delivering tailored OT interventions that meet the
developmental and educational needs of Spanish-speaking children
within a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and
progress monitoring for elementary students. - Collaborate with
educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support
individualized student goals. - Provide culturally and
linguistically appropriate services in Spanish to ensure equitable
access for all students. - Maintain accurate documentation and
comply with school policies and state regulations. - Adapt therapy
schedules flexibly within standard school hours, five days per
week, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. Qualifications: - Licensed
Occupational Therapist in North Carolina. - Fluency in Spanish
(bilingual proficiency required) to effectively communicate with
students and families. - Experience working with school-aged
children, preferably within K-5 settings. - Strong organizational
and communication skills tailored to educational environments.
