working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401! Job Title: Registered Nurse

weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Experience: Minimum 2 years required, first-time travelers welcome
with some surgical experience preferred. License: Active nursing
license required. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred.
Description: Mandatory questionnaire must be completed for
submission. Candidates should be aware that they are being
submitted to a facility and have the job description reviewed with
them. Flexibility with scheduling is required. Candidates must
understand there is a strict policy regarding tardiness and
unexcused absences. Barriers preventing candidates from completing
compliance on time will not be accepted. Candidates must be aware
of the required Pass/Fail EKG exam for all RNs, regardless of
specialty. This position involves the care of stable trauma
patients. Candidates will provide pre-operative and post-operative
care for the surgical patient population. Responsibilities include
the administration of rapid response teams, blood products, and
peripheral line management. High volume patient populations include
those who have undergone exploratory laparotomies,
hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, eye
surgeries, trauma, and plastic surgeries. This role may also
involve care for palliative care patients, observation patients,
and medical overflow patients. Nurse-to-patient ratio will be
maintained at 1:5-6. Candidates must possess experience with
inpatient care, pain management, and various surgical procedures.
Strong skills in obtaining 12-lead EKGs, straight urinary
catheterizations, wound management, and IV administration are
required. Floating between different locations may be necessary if
required. Candidates must prepare for compliance requirements and
adhere to all facility policies. Interdisciplinary support will
include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social
services, and more. This position requires ability in medication
reconciliation, discharge instructions, and the administration of
isolation precautions. Candidates must be prepared for various
surgical patient populations and demonstrate proficiency in
