Job Description Job Description Position Title Neuro-Oncologist
Location Greenville, North Carolina Position Summary We are seeking
a board-certified or board-eligible Neuro-Oncologist to join a
multidisciplinary neuroscience and oncology program in Greenville,
North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide
comprehensive care for patients with primary and metastatic tumors
of the central nervous system in a collaborative, patient-centered
environment. The role may include clinical care, program
development, and participation in research or clinical trials,
depending on interests and organizational needs. Key
Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with
primary brain tumors, spinal cord tumors, and neurologic
complications of systemic cancer. Provide inpatient and outpatient
neuro-oncology consultations and longitudinal care. Collaborate
closely with neurosurgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology,
neuroradiology, neuropathology, and supportive care teams.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care conferences.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance
with evidence-based guidelines. Monitor treatment response and
manage neurologic and treatment-related complications. Educate
patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options,
prognosis, and supportive resources. Maintain timely and accurate
documentation in the electronic health record. Participate in
quality improvement, peer review, and program development
initiatives. Practice Environment Multidisciplinary cancer and
neuroscience program with access to advanced imaging, surgical
services, radiation therapy, and infusion services. Opportunity to
participate in clinical trials, research, and teaching, depending
on interest. Support from experienced advanced practice providers,
nursing, and ancillary staff. Skills and Competencies Strong
clinical expertise in neuro-oncology and neurologic examination.

advancing neuro-oncology services, education, or research.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems. Schedule and
Call Full-time position; schedule and call responsibilities will
vary based on program needs. Inpatient and outpatient
responsibilities may be included. Requirements Education and
Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school. Completion of an
ACGME-accredited residency in Neurology, followed by fellowship
training in Neuro-Oncology. Board certified or board eligible in
Neurology, with subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology. Current,
unrestricted North Carolina medical license or eligibility for
licensure. DEA registration or eligibility. Benefits Compensation
