Job Description:
Are you a skilled physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens
opportunity? We are looking for a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide
24-hour call coverage near Mebane, North Carolina. This is a chance
to work in an inpatient setting and support a team dedicated to
delivering exceptional patient care. Position Highlights:
Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist Coverage Type: Call only (24-hour
coverage) Setting: Inpatient; no outpatient responsibilities Start
Dates: April 24???28, 2025 May 1???3, 2025 June 2???3, 2025 October
6???10, 2025 (starting at 5 PM) November 24???December 1, 2025 Key
Responsibilities: Admissions and patient management with an average
of 2???5 patients per shift. Handle acute and chronic cases,
including neonatal and pediatric ventilation management. Provide
procedures such as intubation, central lines, lumbar punctures, and
other pediatric-specific interventions. Requirements: Board
Eligibility required; Board Certification preferred. Must hold or
be eligible for a North Carolina medical license or Interstate
Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Current certifications in BLS,
ACLS, PALS, and ABLS. Facility Features: 16-bed department with
full inpatient support staff, including RNs and MAs. Temporary
privileges available with a credentialing timeframe of
approximately 45???60 days (can be expedited with a clean history).
EMR system: Paragon. Trauma Level: Not applicable; Pediatric Level:
1. Additional Details: Call response time: 20 minutes. Average
daily admissions: 3???8. Supportive environment with no supervision
of advanced practice providers or residents required. Travel and
