(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility in
Cary, NC is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists with
certification or relevant ORT nursing skills to support operating
room teams on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a dynamic
clinical environment with 10-hour day shifts and variable weekend
and holiday coverage, ideal for professionals who adapt well to

professionals. Responsibilities: Provide intraoperative surgical
support across general and specialized procedures Assist in
maintaining sterile fields and surgical instruments Collaborate
effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and
procedural efficiency Complete electronic charting, preferably
using Epic software Adapt to floating within like units and
variable call schedules as needed Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of
surgical tech experience required AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification mandatory; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
certification preferred Familiarity with Epic charting system
preferred Demonstrated resilience, ability to manage change, and
strong interpersonal skills Experience as a travel surgical tech
highly desirable COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless
exempt for medical/religious reasons Shift Details: 10-hour day
shifts, generally 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend and holiday shifts
required on an as-needed basis Variable call and days off,
flexibility necessary Additional Information: Scrub colors are
provided on site. Orientation week hours may vary, and unit
closures can affect scheduling. No negotiated break rules apply.
