Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Greensboro, NC Employer: HPA Healthcare Pay: $250 per hour Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide overnight inpatient cardiology coverage at a large tertiary care hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role focuses on bread-and-butter cardiology consults and E&M services with no invasive procedures required . Temporary pacemakers and electrophysiology procedures are managed by the EP service on call , allowing the locum cardiologist to focus exclusively on consultative cardiology care. This assignment offers a structured nocturnist schedule , Epic EMR, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative cardiology service line at a 628-bed regional referral hospital . Pay Ranking: Top 10–15% nationally for non-procedural cardiology nocturnist locum assignments (2026 market data). Estimated Annual Earnings: ~$700,000 depending on coverage volume.
