Job Description TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This permanent opportunity provides a blend of outpatient clinic care, surgical services, and hospital call while serving a rural and underserved patient population. This role offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive women’s health in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support while making a meaningful impact in the community. Position Details Job Type: Permanent Role: Physician Specialty: OB/GYN Setting: Outpatient Clinic with Hospital Privileges Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC Start Date: ASAP Schedule 40-hour work week 8-hour clinic days One dedicated surgery day per week Four hours of administrative time weekly Clinical Practice Comprehensive OB/GYN care including outpatient clinic visits, surgical procedures, and hospital deliveries Prenatal care and routine gynecologic procedures Dedicated clinic blocks for procedures (30–60 minutes) Clinic Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day Deliveries: Approximately 25–30 per month for the group Patient Population Rural and underserved community Mix of OB and GYN patients based on referral needs Opportunity to manage complex and high-risk cases Practice Environment Mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center with hospital privileges at a regional hospital in Roanoke Rapids. Clinic Location Modern outpatient clinic located adjacent to the hospital Support Staff RN / LPN clinical staff RN Case Manager Sonographer RN Clinical Practice Manager Front desk and billing staff Technology EMR: eClinicalWorks (clinic) and EPIC (hospital) No DaVinci robotic system Call Schedule Weekday call approximately 1:2 (Mon 8a – Fri 5p) Weekend call approximately 1:4 (Fri 5p – Mon 8a) The long-term goal is to extend the weekday call rotation to 1:3. Compensation & Incentives Base Salary: $210,000 – $315,000 (DOE) Sign-On / Retention Bonus Options 3-Year Commitment: $30,000 sign-on bonus paid upon hire 4-Year Commitment: $50,000 total ($30,000 upon hire $20,000 midpoint payment) 5 Year Commitment: $100,000 total ($50,000 upon hire $50,000 midpoint payment) plus an additional week of PTO Benefits Relocation assistance available Annual CME allowance up to $3,000 and up to 40 hours FTCA malpractice coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) Clinic closed on major holidays 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution beginning at hire Professional fees and dues reimbursed Loan Repayment Eligibility National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholars Loan Repayment Program (LRP) Students to Service (S2S) Providers without student loans may qualify for state high-needs service bonus programs.
