required Description: This position involves working within the
emergency department. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling,
as there is a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused
absences. Familiarity with the Pass Fail EKG exam is mandatory for
all RNs, regardless of specialty. Responsibilities include
discharge planning, needs assessment, ordering DME, and developing
a plan of care. Candidates should have knowledge of CPT coding and
billing, ICD 10 coding, as well as HEDIS measures. Knowledge of
HIPAA guidelines, OSHA standards, and compliance with The Joint
Commission is essential. The candidate will coordinate care and
determine medical necessity following evidence-based guidelines.
Candidates must be prepared to float to various locations if
required. The ability to handle appeals and denials is also
