Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 20, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS OB/GYN certification and at least 1 year of maternal fetal experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Raleigh, NC. Details - Outpatient perinatal/maternal fetal medicine clinic setting - Performs a mix of OB exam types with occasional GYN scans - Caseload of approximately 7–10 patients per day - GE ultrasound equipment used - Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - No on-call requirements - May be asked to float to a nearby Cary, NC clinic location Requirements - Minimum 1 year of maternal fetal ultrasound experience required; 2 years highly preferred - ARDMS OB/GYN certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration - BLS required - Compact or North Carolina (NC) license required if applicable - Experience with GE ultrasound equipment - Full SSN and DOB required for consideration - 1 supervisory professional reference from within the past year required for consideration Additional Information - First-time travelers will be considered for this position - Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a lower pay rate - Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted - Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly American Traveler Job ID P-688840.
