Position Information The Ortho/Spine Program Coordinator, RN is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ortho/Spine program and the ongoing assessment and improvement of the Ortho/Spine surgery product line. Participates in the strategic planning process including identification and implementation of opportunities for growth within the product line. Responsible for the overall structure of the Ortho/Spine surgery program coordination including achieving and maintaining accreditation as a Center of Excellence from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and other credentialing bodies as deemed appropriate. Serves as a liaison between the hospital and physician practices. Develops and implements, with input from interdisciplinary sources, policies and procedures to guide and support the program. Identifies, develops and implements educational programs to meet the needs of hospital staff. Initiates physician outreach activities to promote the Ortho/Spine surgery product line. #LI-POST Experience Requirements : 3 Years Nursing - Related Area Required - And 2 Years Leadership In Clinical - Surgical Services Or Clinical - Orthopaedics Preferred Education Required : Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred Licensure/Certification Requirements : Registered Nurse Required - And Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse Preferred Hours of Work : 7:00am - 3:00pm Weekend Requirements : As Needed Call Requirements : As needed
