Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.As a North American (NAM) HR Business Partner for E-mobility, you will play a key role in supporting and implementing the people strategy for ABB E-mobility in NAM as a core member of the HR team in the business. You will be responsible for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in the region. Reporting to the ABB E-mobility Regional Lead you will translate business goals into HR priorities and ensure effective implementation.Your responsibilities

  • Represents HR in the NAM region (covering USA & Canada), establishing strong relationships with business leaders and acting as consultant, speaking partner and coach
  • Accountable for the total HR offering to the business. Articulates the needs of the business and translates into solutions, working closely with the HR services teams to ensure relevant, impactful support for the business, supporting ambitious growth
  • Implement the ABB E-mobility operating model and optimize organization structures and principles in line with global expectations and the business' evolution
  • In close collaboration with the ABB E-mobility HR team, set and implement strategies and actions to ensure a healthy and sustainable talent structure in the organization. Work closely with Talent Partners to ensure a healthy and sustainable talent pipeline in the organization considering internal Talent pool and external market
  • Ensure competence development actions supporting the business strategy are in place
  • Ensure change management requirements are translated into actions that support the business strategy and plan implementing necessary measures and actions to facilitate change, including communication, reorganization, performance management, motivation, and recognition
  • Lead HR workstream of projects in NAM which may include M&A due diligence, integration, and outsourcing

    • Bachelor's with minimum 10 years of HR Generalist experience in a multinational environment in which at least 1 year of work experience in similar position
    • Extensive knowledge of all HR workstreams with expertise in one or more workstreams
    • Experience with M&A projects, leading due diligence and knowledge of labor relations and employee relations
    • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills to work, interact, coach, and effectively lead people at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to understand the business context and requirements
    • Curious and passionate about the latest HR trends and able to provide a contemporary perspective on how organizations work and thrive today, with a digital awareness mindset
    • Excellent leadership, communication, time management and presentation skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities
    • Advanced English level.
