Shift: 10AM-7PM Pay Rate: $25.00 $30.00Job DescriptionPosition
Summary The P&C Specialist will provide unrelenting customer
service to Youngsville plant employees, perform full range of
P&C functions including administration of P&C policies,
procedures, programs. He or she will maximize the value of employee
communication and employee recognition/appreciation along with
ensuring a positive work environment. The candidate must be willing
to take on additional responsibilities in areas outside of
traditional HR functions.Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all Plant
staff.
- Prepare, maintain, and update employee data in the People &
Culture information systems (Success Factors, ADP, Benefit Focus,
etc.) utilizing advanced computer skills including data entry and
analysis.
- Provide clerical and administrative support.
- Maintain integrity of employee records, files, and data
(Compile and update employee records).
- Auditing of timecards in ADP.
- Hourly onboarding and offboarding system management (hiring in
system and processing of terminations).
- Processing leaves as part of system management.
- Prepare reports related to personnel activities (staffing,
recruitment, turnover, attendance).
- Represent Southwire by coordinating hourly recruiting and
on-boarding activities.
- Conduct hourly new hire orientations.
- Assist with execution of diversity and inclusivity
initiatives.
- Assist with planning and executing engagement events.
- Support and drive engagement of annual initiatives (engagement
& ethics survey, open enrollment).
- Assist with basic P&C related issues/concerns/requests
and/or administrative related issues/concerns (ADP, intranet system
login questions, etc.)
- Assist with promoting HR programs to create an efficient and
inclusive workplace (Circuit, Your cause, etc.)
- Positively impact and contribute to all aspects of P&C.
Long DescriptionQualifications and Experience Requirements
- 3+ years' experience working in HR with demonstrated success in
recruiting and onboarding employees.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented nature;
desire to build relationships with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including
experience leading teams and public speaking or training.
- Skilled at using MS Office.
- Ability to organize work and set priorities to accomplish
individual and team goals; may include non-traditional
