What you ll do
We are adding talent to our SAS Visual Statistics and SAS Visual
Data Mining and Machine Learning team. If you have a strong
programming background and experience with statistical concepts,
this could be the right opportunity for you!
As a Software Developer and a member of the Interactive Analytics
and Modeling Team in the R&D division at SAS, you will
implement new features as determined by product management. Your
work will pertain to the features in the SAS Visual Analytics
product that involve the statistical and machine learning models.
This position is focused on the client interface, building on
statistical algorithms developed by other teams.
* Participate in all steps of the continuous development lifecycle;
including design, development, testing, and monitoring.
* Research and implement new statistical and machine learning
* Effectively communicate with other developers and testers.
* Review documentation.
* Report status to management.

* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative

* Advanced degree in Computer Science
* Experience with predictive analytics
* Experience using an IDE such as IntelliJ.
* Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.

* Ability to learn new analytical concepts, programming languages,
tools, and processes as needed.
* Ability to think analytically and effectively communicate issues
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
