highly experienced individuals who can establish a trusting
relationship with our clients. As a Technical Account Manager
(TAM), you will develop a consistent long-term partnership with our
clients to maximize their ROI in IBM products. You will have the
opportunity to be a part of the Hybrid Cloud Expert Labs
organization where you develop critical-thinking skills and work
with Subject Matter Experts to resolve complex problems for our
worldwide clients. In addition, you will help drive delivery to
leading-edge technology in the Journey to Cloud, Openshift, Cloud
Paks, Intelligent Business Automation.
The Technical Account Manager has core responsibility in the
following areas for Expertise Connect customers:Provide a single
focal point to customers and field personnel for helping the
client:Avoid problems (Preventive)
Avoid reoccurrence of problems after one has occurred
Lead coordination of current problems, reduce the impact
(mitigation), expedite resolution, provide root cause and delivery
of lessons learned (again, proactive)
Work with clients through Delivery Plan process to identify:Client
goals where TAM can help
Patterns that match client goals
TAM objectives within each pattern that clients can track through
the scorecard process
Provide Proactive Reports, based on client needs/desires
Responsible for ensuring that all contract deliverables are
Where appropriate, act as lead or primary TAM across all business

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience developing client relationships and strong rapport
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across different
departments and all levels of technical and management
Excellent time management, organization skills, and the ability to
manage multiple, complex, high-priority tasks and situations across
Excellent problem-identifying skills, able to solve them quickly
and thoroughly, using peers and internal resources as
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to pay attention to detail
and the ability to help resolve technical issues
Working knowledge and usage of Cloud technology (AWS/IBM
Working knowledge of OS (Linux, Windows)
Ability to communicate effectively and experience in presenting
Team player and willing to learn, especially new technologies
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Fundamental and/or strong knowledge in following technology &
skills is an advantage. (Java, Shell scripting, Python, Kubernetes,
Containers, Perl etc. )
Experience in the IBM Products: Cloud Paks, Intelligent Business
Automation, FileNet Content Manager, Business Automation Workflo,
ODM, RPA, WDG, Automation Document Processing, MyInvenio
Experience of concepts of AI and Machine Learning
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills allowing support of
critical customer situations
Able to interpret and understand client's business and technical
Ability to bridge between Client's technical needs/problem and IBM
