SummaryThis role is responsible for maintenance and support of automation solutions that enable the organizations' business processes in line with the corporate vision and strategy. They will develop, implement and manage solutions and content by following the department procedures and guidelines. . This role will involve delivering technical resolutions for the existing enterprise solutions in working with other support team members.In this position you will contribute to business processes standardization, enterprise application standards, architectural strategies, and overall roadmaps.Representing the interests of all relevant stakeholders, they are responsible for defining and prioritizing the solution/product backlog (a prioritized set of features) to deliver a whole, valuable solution/product that will continuously improve over time. Solutions/products will be architected according to identified business capability needs and enterprise technology standards/processes as appropriate.Principal Accountabilities Strategy & RoadmapsContribute to the creation of roadmaps of prioritized future capabilities for their solution/product domain.Ensure that solutions they are accountable are visible, transparent and clear to all. It clearly shows what the development is required to meet requirements.Work with business partners and solution/product leads to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements.Identify potential new solutions/products that the market will embrace.Factor in required architecture or engineering effort to use or build common components.Make or help with buy-versus-build decisions and ensure the necessary procurement planning.Share insight on technology trends and emerging capabilities.Determine investment opportunities based on business and financial objectives.Develop and Enhance Solutions/ProductsServes as a subject matter expert in their solution/product domain to assist the team in making decisions.Assist in product release plans that satisfy requirements and priorities.Leverage indirect LES resources to continuously manage the solution/product, meeting the agreed requirements within timescales while adhering to necessary governance and controls.Manage their solution/product area in the discipline of product and project management in order to drive successful outcomes and continuous delivery of key capabilities.Follow development methodologies to ensure the right skills and composition to deliver quickly and develop response to emerging requirements.Identify, anticipate and tackle technical issues, and remove blockers.Apply technical knowledge, including agile practices, to solve business problems.Contribute to prioritization for the solution/productTraining & CommunicationAccountable for training content and services associated with the solution/product as required.Foster by conducting effective communication with team members for solution/product release plans, status updates and issue reporting.Communicate ideas, innovation thinking and opportunities to stakeholders across the enterprise.Operational ExcellenceManage on-going operations for the functional area, compile key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of service and improve daily operations through system change management and project deliveryContribute to making the outsourced services successful for their solution/product/domain.Manages lifecycle management activities of solution/product in line with enterprise application processes and non-functional roadmapsPerformance and support coordination with both internal, external and non-technical resources.Ensure alignment with technology standards.EducationBachelor's degree is required.5+ years' prior relevant experienceRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience managing solution/product technologies and digital initiatives at a global and/or regional level within pharmaceutical / biotech industryUnderstands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.Has advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and prior experience. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies from traditional waterfall to Agile/Lean/DevOps/Product methodologies (such as PRINCE 2 or PMI)Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria.Demonstrated ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits.Strong risk assessment and problem resolution skills for highly regulated environment or good documentation culture, including change management processes.Demonstrated ability to engage with development teams and business partners to achieve target outcomes.Removes cultural or process barriers to the usage of common components and functionalities.Ability to present solutions that influence leadership, peers, and other internal and external stakeholder groups, and communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner.Experienced in working with outsourced service providers in an international context.Experience of working in heavily matrixed organizations.Technical knowledge of integrating and operating applications architectures.Preferred Skills & Experience (Not required)Experience with enterprise implementations of Chromatography Data Systems (Empower / Chromeleon / Open Lab).Experience with enterprise implementations of Data Archival Systems (Waters NuGenesis).Experience with enterprise implementation of Laboratory Integration Systems (LabX)Experience with enterprise implementation of Laboratory Automation Systems ( Blue Crux Binocs)Our BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
