Description:Our client, a leading software analytics company, is
seeking a Web Content Operations Specialist to join their team! In
this Web Content Operations role, you will help to oversee and
manage the creation, implementation and management of the user
experience on the company website - from helping to intake web
requests, QAing web pages, publishing content, and helping to
manage content distribution to our global websites and content
lifecycle. Your focus will be to work with the larger company
website UX to ensure that the webpages published are the highest
quality possible from governance standards to accessibility to SEO
to page performance and more. This is a contract opportunity with
remote flexibility. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the web intake process. You will help to
manage web requests from various marketing and business teams. You
will help to intake, then set up projects within our project
management tool, assign work to web UX team members, and
appropriately communicate status back to key stakeholders and
business partners.
- Assist with web QA process to ensure high-quality web UX is
published, ensuring design governance, accessibility, page
performance and more is top-notch.
- Assist with content publishing on the company website, along
with distributing that content to our global websites.
- Help to manage web UX governance and accessibility
reviews.
- Play an integral role in helping to establish new processes
around content operations, as well as evolve and improve upon
existing processes.Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.Desired
Background/Skills:
- Have a basic, but solid understanding of web UX, web design,
content development and web content lifecycle management.
- Understand basic web accessibility, SEO, mobile UX.
- Have experience with a web content management system, and
authoring or managing content and web pages within a web content
management system.
- Possess strong strategic skills around process management,
process evolution and creation.
- Shave strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral.
- Very strong collaboration abilities is a must.Qualifications:
- The ability to come in and learn, understand and then add value
to improving and managing process and content / UX ops around one
of the organizations most strategic digital channels.
- Digital mindset and aptitude.
- Process oriented.
- Flexible and creative problem-solver.
- Someone who is cool under pressure, and enjoys being busy.
- Someone who can effectively switch priorities quickly.
