Software Developer you'll work collaboratively with our
Electrification (EL) Installation Products business process owners
and leadership team stakeholders to develop IS applications
solutions in focus ERP domains including Order to Cash, Warehouse
Management, and Logistics& Transportation. You'll leverage your
technical and business process knowledge and software development
expertise to develop optimal solutions to meet internal customer

Manager, Legacy ERP OperationsYour responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and process owners to
analyze and understand functions to be automated, evaluate client
needs, objectives, desired features, and define requirements and
implement software solutions
- Consult with internal client groups to prototype, refine, test,
and debug programs while adhere to all software quality assurance
standards
- Write and maintain documentation to describe program
development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
- Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries
regarding errors, problems, or questions within assigned programing
and development projects
- Train end users or technical support staff to use current and
new programs
- Analyze, install, and test upgrades of externally developed
application programsYour background
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business or related
field is required with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience
developing ERP business and financial Natural and Adabas
applications; in Lieu of a having a degree, 10 or more years of
directly related application development experience is acceptable,
and highly desired.
- Prefer direct experience with:
- ADABAS / Natural / MVS / TSO / JCL;
- PL/SQL / ORACLE.
- Must have experience working with internal process owners, and
stakeholder to identify, analyze, define, and develop software
solutions that support user requirements, and automate, improve,
and enhance business process effectiveness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are
essential.
- Software design and coding experience of screen lay-outs,
graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with
other systems is required.
- Must have ability to write and maintain functional and
technical documentation.
- An interest and desire to learn SAP ERP software development in
domain areas of choice; or enhance your existing SAP skillset is
absolutely required.
