Job PurposeThe SD/MM Specialist will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, SAP Americas and will have an important role to support Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Inventory management.The resource will be expected to be hands-on in SAP functional areas as well as in a support management role. The position requires some travel within the Americas and internationally. Having a strong customer focus and service orientation is key for this position.We are transitioning to global SAP S/4 HANA and the candidate is expected to extensively contribute to the transition from several SAP ECC systems to S/4 HANA.This position offers a challenging career opportunity for the right candidate. We offer a hybrid working model (office/work from home).Job Responsibilities
      • Hands on experience specializing in SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management solution design, development and support
      • Responsible for working with other areas within SAP like PP/QM/WM and FICO to provide a comprehensive solution in the Order-to-Cash (OTC), Inventory Management and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) area
      • Collects, documents, and communicates best practices utilizing SAP best practices and industry best practices
      • Support the implementation of strong application maintenance processes and SLA's in all areas of responsibility (break fix, FMEA, preventive and minor enhancements)
      • Lead the improvement of how core SAP can be used best to support our processes. Must be comfortable in challenging the status quo.
      • Technical support: Provide support and take leadership in the OTC and P2P areas including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation.
      • Production support: As a key support resource for SAP North Americas support organization, address all SAP support tickets in your area based prioritization in a timely manner. Recording incidents, working on root cause analysis and providing permanent resolutions working with internal technical teams to resolve the issue and avoid them from happening repeatedly.
      • Proactive Analysis: Analyze usage, incidents and new requirements to come up with a strategy to effectively support production by either developing tools or integrating tools available in the market.
      • Documentation: Responsible for development of detailed documentation related to business processes mapped and implemented within SAP including documentation of the downstream and upstream system impacts
      • Build partnerships with internal customers and other systems owners within North America and globally
      • An understanding of ABAP and technical knowledge of Process Orchestration, EDI, IDoc and Workflow would be an advantage. Understanding of LSMW (for ECC) and LTMC (for S/4 HANA) is an advantage.
      • Collaborating with 3rd party SAP AMS provider(s) in a co-sourcing model
      • Participate in the global Change Control Board as required.
      • Support internal and external audits
      • Maintain standards for application maintenance support toolsRequired Education And Experience
        • Bachelor's degree in a Logistics or Engineering - related field, or equivalent experience required. A Chemical background is an advantage.
        • 9+ years strong hands-on work experience in SAP SD/MM required in a business facing role (consulting or business analyst position)
        • Experience in at least 1or 2 full life-cycle SAP S/4 Hana project coordinating cross-functional teams and resources. Migration experience from SAP/ECC or JDE to S/4 HANA is a big advantage.
        • Strong knowledge of (global) Master data management (Customer Master, Material Master, Vendor Master). Experience with SAP MDG is a plus
        • Additional experience in GTS, EHS, PP, QM, WM, and FICO integration is preferred
        • Experience with barcoding and/or label printing solutions is a plus
        • Experience with defining and troubleshooting interfaces utilizing Process Orchestration (PO) and EDI (and Non- EDI) a plus
        • Ability to effectively communicate with Business SME's, Technical IT team members and as well as end users across the globe (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
        • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
