Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension Pay Rate:
$24.29 per hour (W2) Position Summary The Supply Chain Specialist I
is responsible for executing the daily incoming workflow of
reagents and consumables inventory for FMIs regulated laboratory
operations, including receiving, quarantine, storage, and
distribution. This role covers both regulated and non-regulated
supplies, inbound and outbound package management, and general
housekeeping of FMIs loading dock and storerooms. The Specialist
works collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance with all
applicable regulations and maintains accuracy of inventory
transactions. This is a regulated position, and additional
qualification requirements may be available from QA in accordance
with regulatory guidelines. Regular onsite presence at an assigned
FMI location is an essential function of this role. Key
Responsibilities: Execute receiving activities for both GMP (Good
Manufacturing Practices) and Non-GMP materials in ERP and
Laboratory Management Systems. Issue and deliver materials using
Kanban and 5S principles to maintain appropriate inventory levels
for Operations. Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy
in alignment with department goals. Provide shipping and logistics
support for all inbound and outbound domestic shipments. Create
material requisitions in the ERP system and collaborate with the
Procurement Team on supplier delivery schedules. Adhere to
established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to
inventory management, health, safety, and waste disposal. Ensure
compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including
FDA, ISO, CLIA, and other Quality Management System standards.
Maintain and store both paper and electronic records in compliance
with quality system requirements. Support continuous improvement
initiatives within the Supply Chain department. Perform other
duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School
Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of inventory or material management experience.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or molecular technology
industry. Familiarity with inventory and materials management
systems. Prior shipping and receiving experience. Proven attention
to detail and strong organizational skills. Skills and Abilities
Ability to work in a laboratory environment in the presence of
chemicals and reagents. Follow proper protocols for working in cold
rooms. Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely. Lift up
to 25 pounds. Handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a
fast-paced environment. Adapt to changing procedures, policies, and
work environments. Work well under pressure while maintaining a
professional demeanor. Possess strong interpersonal, written, and
verbal communication skills, along with collaboration and
problem-solving abilities. Understand and uphold HIPAA regulations
and the importance of patient data privacy. Demonstrate commitment
