Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in
precision metalworking, is seeking a Machinist to join their team.
As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department
supporting production and tooling operations. The ideal candidate
will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and
a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machinist Location:
Farmville, NC Pay Range: $21.50 (Based off experience) Shift:
What's the Job? Perform a wide variety of duties to repair single
operation and progressive dies. Alter, repair, and maintain
piercing, shaping, cutting, and bending dies, tools, fixtures, and
gauges. Draw parts in BobCAD format as assigned and program wire
EDM & Cincinnati mill machines. Investigate and order tools
approved by your supervisor, ensuring timely procurement. Rebuild
and rework all tooling as needed, assisting in building new tooling
when required. What's Needed? High School or Trade School Graduate,
with preferred Tool and Die Maker certification. Ability to read
and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as
micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds
occasionally and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and
twisting. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow
instructions, and commitment to safety standards. What's in it for
