Summary:

As part of the company's strategic research services function, the Research Associate role provides support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders for client billable projects, business development opportunities, and Thought Leadership publications. Applies drug development knowledge, particularly the clinical trial process, to synthesize secondary research information succinctly, presenting findings effectively to InfoAccess' customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts routine secondary research using proprietary and publically available data sources.
  • Understands and interprets research requirements prior to researching and synthesizing appropriate information; does not hesitate to ask questions for clarity.
  • Works in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Writes in scientific or appropriate business context to clearly and accurately communicate research methodology, findings, and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with team members for addressing complex requests; identifies potential obstacles with data sources; discusses new attributes of subscribed data sources.
  • Participates in internal improvement initiatives to enhance team's capabilities through process improvement, analysis of new data sources, and research projects.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in science/healthcare field or equivalent combination with private sector, CRO or Pharma experience; MS in sciences strongly preferred.
    • Good problem solving skills and experience conducting and presenting research required, preferably in the healthcare field.
    • Experience working within a therapeutic area, technology or healthcare function (e.g., pricing, reimbursement, regulatory or market access) preferred.
    • Should be comfortable working independently while still having awareness of team needs.
    • Strong attention to detail, written and oral communications skills, with excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to prioritize diverse workload, and understand the urgency behind each task
    • Fluency in any additional languages considered an advantage
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
