Your Role and Responsibilities The Global Acquisition Hiring Partner is responsible for managing the end to end global recruiting and hiring process for recently acquired companies. The Global Hiring Partner plays a critical role in facilitating the global hiring activity through their partnership with Global Integration Executives and Geo Functional Leaders that support acquisition hiring at the local levels. The Global Hiring Partner serves as the strategic partner between the IBM Integration and Human Resources teams, as well as the acquired companies, to maximize hiring performance throughout each phase of the acquisition staffing process. This position serves as the hiring focal point for Integration Executives, providing hiring direction through regular cadence discussions and proactive partnership with Geo teams, to solution any roadblocks to hiring. In addition, the Global Acquisition Hiring Partner guides the newly acquired leaders and recruiters through IBM recruiting processes. The Global Hiring Partner is expected to be knowledgeable in executive client relationship management, consulting, negotiation methods, and IBM's corporate policies, while maintaining strong organizational skills, accountability, and professionalism. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Acquisition business leaders, Acquisition Integration executives, Internal and Acquisition HR departments, and Geo Recruiting teams * Provide complete and accurate reporting information to Integration Executives outlining progress against global hiring plans * Identify and work with Key Process Stakeholders to define and implement acquisition specific processes * Understand acquisition deployment model and manage the distribution and reconciliation to ensure appropriate hiring levels globally * Work with Integration HR and Management to identify initial job needs and post to Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including reviewing and editing job descriptions, facilitating legal review, and opening requisitions * Drive staffing process and remove roadblocks for hiring and on-boarding * Lead and participate on regular cadence calls with Global Team, Local Teams, Acquisition HR, and HR Integration * Manage monthly Acquisition Scorecard for executive stakeholders * Implement and manage dual hiring and tracking process for all acquisitions prior to transfer of employment * Develop an understanding of acquired company business, skills, challenges, and strategies to effectively manage hiring attainment Required Technical and Professional Expertise * Ability to manage competing work demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible * Knowledge and extensive past use of an applicant tracking system, preferably BrassRing * Project management, written, and oral communication skills * Demonstrated ability to develop a recruiting strategy for a broad/deep range of positions * Ability to travel as required * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately * Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures * Experience in full life-cycle recruiting * Ability to work effectively across borders and multiple cultures * Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise * Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related discipline preferred About Business Unit IBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.
